Arttu (FI) and Carina (AR/FI) are dancers, teachers and choreographers of Argentine tango and dancers and teachers of Argentine folk dance. Arttu is also a tango DJ and Carina has experience in contemporary dance and body dramaturgy.

“We use technique as a tool for freedom of body expression.” 

They use and teach a technique based on the body´s natural movements, which gives everyone the opportunity to develop their own dance and express themselves freely, and also creates space for couple dancing. In their teaching they also use changing roles to expand the understanding of dance and the challenges of both roles.

Their teaching is nourished by the elements of new tango, tango salon, canyenge and stage tango. Their dance is a delicious combination of traditional Argentinian tango and new style. 

They also perform and teach Argentine folk dances.

Arttu has been dancing tango for over 15 years and Carina for over 25 years. They met in 2008 at the well known DNI Tango school in Buenos Aires. Since 2010, they have danced and taught together in Argentina, Switzerland, Sweden, and all around Finland. 

In 2017, they opened La Fábrica del Tango – dance school with their friends and colleagues Pasi and Maria Laurén. The dream came true and they have their own tango school in the heart of Tampere.

TangoPiantao is the business name of Arttu and Carina, under which they dance, teach and sell e.g. shoes suitable for tango dancing and Luna de Tango dance clothing for women designed and handmade by Carina.

Carina ja Arttu

Arttu (FI) ja Carina (AR/FI) ovat argentiinalaisen tangon tanssijoita, opettajia ja koreografeja sekä argentiinalaisen kansantanssin tanssijoita ja opettajia. Arttu on myös tango DJ ja Carinalla on kokemusta nykytanssista ja kehon dramaturgiasta.

“Käytämme tekniikkaa työkaluna kehon ilmaisun vapauteen.” 

He käyttävät ja opettavat kehon luonnolliseen liikkeeseen perustuvaa tekniikkaa, joka antaa jokaiselle mahdollisuuden kehittää omaa tanssiaan ja ilmaista itseään vapaasti, ja luo tilaa myös paritanssille.

Opetuksessaan he käyttävät myös roolinvaihtoa laajentamaan tanssikäsitystä ja ymmärrystä oman roolin haasteista.

Heidän opetustaan ravitsevat uuden tangon, salonkitangon, canyengen ja näyttämötangon elementit. Heidän tanssinsa on herkullinen yhdistelmä perinteistä argentiinalaista tangoa ja uutta tyyliä.

He esittävät ja opettavat myös argentiinalaisia kansantansseja.

Arttu on tanssinut tangoa yli 15 vuotta ja Carina yli 25 vuotta. He tapasivat vuonna 2008 tunnetussa DNI Tango -koulussa Buenos Airesissa. Vuodesta 2010 lähtien he ovat tanssineet ja opettaneet yhdessä Argentiinassa, Sveitsissä, Ruotsissa ja eri paikoissa ympäri Suomea.

Vuonna 2017 he avasivat La Fábrica del Tango -tanssikoulun yhdessä ystäviensä ja kollegoidensa Pasi ja Maria Laurénin kanssa. Unelma toteutui ja heillä on oma tangokoulu Tampereen sydämessä.

TangoPiantao on Artun ja Carinan toiminimi, jonka alla he tanssivat, opettavat ja myyvät mm. tangon tanssimiseen sopivia kenkiä ja Luna de Tango -vaatteita, jotka ovat Carinan suunnittelemia ja käsin tekemiä tanssivaatteita naisille.
